My cynical nature demands that I point out one simple fact; Buckeye games on the Peacock are evenly spread out so that there would be no point in cancelling your subscription, should you choose to purchase one.
My inner pragmatist says skip the Pitt and valpo games, sign up for the Purdue and Wiscy games and then play it by ear for the Nebraska game depending on how relevant it ends up being.
Correct. They are going to try and milk everyone of us fans for as much as they can possibly get away with for as long as we let them do it. Until they start to kill the interest like what pay-per-view did to boxing popularity. However, popularity for CFB is very very high; they have a long way to go before they even approach crossing the line.

another poster wrote to watch for Black Friday peacock special and get whole year for something like $1 a month for a year. They had got that last year.
Just curious how many other streaming services people are paying for that are complaining about the games being on Peacock. To each their own for what they want to watch. I don't have Netflix, don't have Amazon, don't have Apple+. I have YouTube TV, ESPN+ for hockey, BTN+, and Peacock.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
I get that but not people don't necessarily have the same interests. I prioritize my ability to see as much Ohio State content over other content but that is just my preference. I have high hopes now with the Guardians moving to MLB and the plan to not have blackouts might mean I can get their games down here in Richmond next year. I would pay for that.

For everyone complaining about the Peacock games, please remember that NBC/Universal joined a $7B media rights deal for the B1G. They did that for specific reasons like bolstering Peacock. No one has to purchase it and I will likely listen to those games streaming on the Ohio State basketball network. Hopefully they have better basketball announcers than they have for football
There is also an inventory issue on traditional channels. There are probably 16-18 BIG conference games every week and even more in the non conference. They all need homes somewhere.
Unless there's a B1G discount I won't be adding Peacock or Paramount. More disappointed that the Women's team has so many on Peacock. I expect them to be a top 10 team and would think they'd be a tv draw.
Peacock sucks. Sounds like it could have been worse. Too bad about Purdue.

Sure, you can find deals in different ways to get Peacock.
That doesn't help with the garbage announcers, analysis, the picture that's barely HD and goes in and out, and then coming back from commercials late to play already in progress.

It always seems impossible until it’s done
This is for all those who said "It's one game, who cares". It never stays at that.

I mentioned at the time that Tuesday basketball games (in particular) were likely to be on Peacock.
I also hate that so many women's games are on Big Ten+
At least with Peacock you have access to other shows you might watch...

I love Netflix and Prime. I watch a ton of content on both. Hulu is also fine. Peacock as a service sucks.

I signed up for peacock for the michigan state game. Immediately cancelled after. Peacock then immediately offered me 6 months for $1.99.
