Not sure if this is the most recent or not, but the punt forced on ND’s penultimate possession last year (really their final possession considering they only got the ball back again with 1 second remaining) comes to mind.  They also forced a punt and made two 4th down stops in the 4th quarter of the Penn state game last year.

While culprit and specifics are certainly open to debate, and reasonable minds can draw different conclusions from the same set of facts, this much seems to be a given.

So where has it been rumored that Knowles and Johnson have been "feuding" and what does the feuding entail? Is this just internet blather or are there some facts to go with it?
 

It’s been talked around by pretty much all of the insiders at one point or another over the last couple of years. No facts, nor would I ever expect there to be facts made public. As far as what it entails the supposition is that LJ doesn’t want to give up his 4 lineman set, and possibly some of the players in his room, to allow for the jack position that is integral to what Knowles actually wants to run on defense. 

He’s had such a weird trajectory. Very solid as a freshman, a liability as a soph, elite as a jr, now seemingly back to sophomore form. 

Nailed it. Every season goal is not just still on the table, but extremely feasible.  Hopefully people can take a few deep breaths and wake up with some perspective. 

I'm more upset about the time that was tricked out of us from the Jeremiah Smith PI. 

Its on the staff and, to a lesser extent, the players to be aware of the rules and the clock in such situations.

The result means very little in the grand scheme. The clock mismanagement and lack of awareness by Howard could, however, mean a lot before it’s all said and done. Great game. The good guys had every opportunity to win and couldn’t quite make it happen. On goes the life.
