This game features so much talent that one slight edge could bust it wide open, either team. I like our chances but this game will require better focus than the first half of last week's game.
No overconfidence here; but no fear either
Just determination. Love it!
If your opponent knocks you on your ass, honor the game and RESPECT him. But Gentlemen, no bastard ever won a football game by getting knocked on his ass. You won it by knocking the other poor dumb bastard on his ass and making HIM respect YOU!!

Ryan said it and I believe him: “gotta run the ball, stop the run and take care of the football.” I’ll also be interested to see if our D-line can keep Gabriel from escaping the pocket to extend plays.
How do you take a crowd out of a game and make them silent? Run teh ball down their throats and let them know they are in for 4 FULL quarters of that. OSU averages 6.24 YPC for the SEASON Oregon allows 3.65 YPC I think the ground attack GASHES them. I think Howard has a HUGE game with his legs taking off on a couple of RPO's he rumbles for a score on a LONG run 30+ scamper OSU 31 ducks 13
I like this game. We are steadily improving and beat a common opponent by more. Second half will be the game. Want a healthy Tate to run some go routes and take the top off the defense like Devin Smith in 2014. And Tyleke and K Mac to bust up plays and qb. Haven’t heard much about their o line.
He (Noland) has been. Helped to show what's ahead.
Burke is one of my favorite Buckeyes. Exceptional talent and great team spirit. After Columbus, I look forward to many great years as a pro.
I said it earlier in the week, but our DBs are key. I hope they're not playing ten yards off the LOS so Gabriel can dink and dunk all day. Press coverage and let the 5* safeties clean it up. That will give JT and Sawyer more time to get home. Have to have good tackling fundamentals. Minimize big plays.
I was of the same opinion earlier in the season, but watching Knowles' defense over time shows that we give up those easy yards but when the field gets shorter the opposing offense can't move at all. We basically give them the 60 yards in the middle of the field for a couple of drives but they can't do much at all once inside the 30.
It's not bend-don't-break as much as it is us learning the offense and closing off everything but the occasional field goal.
To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
He said he hates playing in Nationally televised games because he gets picked on when he screws up.
Why that's Day's fault when it's only coming from one guy, I don't know, but it's definitely not a good sign that your big and slow RT is already worrying about what's going to happen when he messes up.
If he gets beat bad a few times on Saturday, I'd like to see them try Simmons-Jackson-McLaughlin-Siereveld-Tshabola to see how that looks. Fryar blocking Jordan Burch is a potentially horrific matchup for OSU.
You know damn well that part will get glossed over lol. New rule: Ohio State offensive linemen don’t do media appearances. I actually feel bad for Frye.
He should definitely not be allowed to talk to the media anymore. A few weeks ago, he said practices last year didn't even make players break a sweat. I understand he is trying to say good things about the 2024 team. But man, he is making the past few seasons of OSU look like complete incompetence top to bottom.
Elliott dots the eye, on this national championship win.
He will be a great NFL corner. We need him to get it done Saturday. As the saying goes, and we saw it with him, if a dog is going to bite, he will do it as a pup.
The things I think this game is most like to answer:
- Were the relatively unproductive first-half offensive starts in every game this season the result of complacency or indicative of some kind of systemic issue ?
- What are Howard's prospects as a big-game QB when the heat is on ?

F@ck the Ducks! Let's Go Bucks!
If not now, when?

Our people are everywhere, Esto Dignus.
I don't see Oregon busting this game open. If they win it will be close.
Yeah... they want it wide open, shoot-out style.

Run the ball. Throw Deep. Play Action. Win.
Air Noland may be really valuable for the scout team this week. Go Bucks!!!
Reverse dupl.

I'm squeamishly optimistic.

I see the presser bullets left out the part of the Fryar interview that has social media calling for Day's head...

He also went on to say that he feels more comfortable heading under the lights now that he has more experience.
Go Bucks Forever
And Fryar may be one of those guys that handles a guy his size better than a 6'2" 240lb DE...
Unfortunately this 6-6, 290 pounder moves like a 6-2, 240er.

Self crowned Eleven Warriors humble-off champion.

Leaving the Fryar notes off the article makes me a tiny bit annoyed.
Was 11 warriors afraid to post it or did they really not deem the content worthy.
Anyway to each their own.

This quote from Burke should go down infamy….
Burke is all hat no cattle.
