All that talent, but we don’t create confusion and havoc on D; rather, it’s comfort and holes for the other team’s offense.  If it’s a staff approach issue, Day has to tell Knowles to run the D he wants and for the position coaches to help their groups make it happen, cohesively.  Burke is good, but sometimes even the best need a breather to get their shit together.  There is no way Matthews would have been worse.  And for phuq sake, run the ball!!  Trey was gashing them.  Go Bucks!!!

That dude has not only size that can’t be taught but skills that can be developed.  He could be really good!  Go Bucks!!

Sucks for Will.  He was surprisingly effective.  Losing Simmons really hurts.  Go Bucks!!!

Henderson was killing them.  Of course, we did not stay with the run.  We have seen Matthews play well; he should have been in there so Burke could get his shit settled down.  Burke spent too much time peeking in the backfield.  JTT got greedy on Gabriel’s TD run.  He would have freaking smashed Gabriel if he stayed with his responsibility.  We won TOP possession handily, so it was disappointing to see guys get gassed.  Curry flashed as always.  Q was forced to pay way too much of a price for a “fumble” which was a strip as he was driven backwards.  Michalski actually seemed to hold up ok.  Coaches have got to manage clock better.  Go Bucks!!

If I’m not mistaken, a facemask penalty led to the midfield kick that directly resulted in a turnover and a score.  DBs were too handsy when panicked.  These are discipline issues in the sense of controlling what can be controlled.

Stock down - discipline.  Gotta clean up those penalties which have been an issue for years.  Go Bucks!!

Day is not Cooper 2.0 as anyone who actually endured those years will attest.   There have not been the horrible L’s (63-14 Penn St. anyone?).  In Coop’s first 6 seasons, the Bucks went like 45-22-4.  Day’s winning percentage blows that away with a lot fewer off the field issues.  The coaching carousel rarely benefits even a top tier program.  Go Bucks and keep winning almost 90% of games a year!!

There is no sugarcoating that this one hurts.  Game management in tight games sucks.  That was an NFL type of end-game situation, and the Bucks never even got to try to kick the game-winning FG.  Hopefully, Kelly can emphasize those situations with Day and the team because they will arise against top-tier competition.  That defense… Burke should have been subbed to at least have a chance to get his crap together.  The loss of Simmons is huge; hope he heals quickly and well.  Go Bucks!!

#6.  That was an NFL end of game situation.  Would have thought Chip would have us much better prepared to handle and would have passed some of that to Day.  Instead, it was another clock management mess.

Defensive contact more than 5 yards downfield.  Should have been a no-call or offsetting.

I was at the Georgia game.  This is just another variation of that same theme.  We do not get the stops in big games.  We always have the lead - until we don't.  Knowles seems to have the same quotebook after these brutal losses.  Our clock management at the end of games, though. . .

I voted yes, but the margin for error is now zero.  So much we have to improve to play top teams, starting with clock management.  Sitting at the 30 with 30 seconds to go plus a timeout.  We did not even get to line up for the FG.  That is pathetic, even if the PI was a BS call.  Could have used the timeout to settle down after the PI.  Run couple plays and spike the ball.  Kick and win the game.

That was the Georgia playoff game part two.  Corners sucked.  Those last 30 seconds leave me speechless.  Clock managed our way into a loss.  WTH?!
