Interesting that Smith didn't even make second team on this one but have seen him first team in others. Such is the world of opinions.

I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!

And he would be the first or second WR taken, depending on the team drafting how their coach sees it.

Self crowned Eleven Warriors humble-off champion.

Jackson missed too many games to be on this list. But a mid-season list means nothing anyway.

None of our receivers seems crazy to me.

2 are Bama transfers. Thanks, Saban!

Absurd that Smith is not on there. He was first team on The Athletic AA team.

At least Burke is on the list.

If you can’t make a fourth and one, you don't deserve to win.

The fact that Ryan Williams is on there but JJ Smith isn't is an abomination. Smith has more yards from scrimmage and one more touchdown, has scored in every game and never been rendered ineffective. Williams is stellar in every way but did nothing in their last game and relies on big plays to get significant yardage and isn't a possession receiver in any way.

To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.

But Williams has eSECpn behind him. That's the difference.

Just more proof that preseason and midseason All-American teams are not to be taken seriously. More times than not they leave the ones off that should be on, and the put the ones on that should be off. And that's just on our team alone. Where's Ebuka and Smith? Donovan Jackson hasn't barely played and when he has he's been mediocre like he's always been It could make a person wonder if the ones that make these lists even have eyes.
