Just more proof that preseason and midseason All-American teams are not to be taken seriously. More times than not they leave the ones off that should be on, and the put the ones on that should be off. And that's just on our team alone. Where's Ebuka and Smith? Donovan Jackson hasn't barely played and when he has he's been mediocre like he's always been It could make a person wonder if the ones that make these lists even have eyes.

If we don't get in the 12 team Playoff with the roster we have this season, I'd be OK with firing everybody. I'm almost there now.

Lining up Tuimololau with all his athleticism in virtually the same spot play after play for going on 4 years now is just one of many things that drives me insane about our Defensive coaching staff. Why not move him around and at least try to get him in mismatches any way you can. Try something different once in awhile. Get creative. What's it gonna hurt at this point?

Our Defensive coaching staffs have failed repeatedly to put the right personnel in the best places to be successful going all the way back to maybe as far as Dantonio as our DC. He might be the last high quality teacher we had on that side of the ball. Ash and Fickell did some good things for a couple years, but the rest the past 20 years have been basically carbon copies of each other with some editions just happening to be a little more worse than the other bad ones. Even under Ash and Fickell we didn't have what I would call a dominant Defense.

It's been forever since we could honestly claim we had a real intimidating championship style Defense that opposing Offenses actually feared even a little.

I'd go along with Smith and Williams being the two best WRs in college football right now, but after seeing Oregon, they might be even deeper than us at the position..Very impressive the amount of quality there that they showed, even after the former Bama thug got thrown out.

You're given them way to much credit. It's still Texas and Sarkisian and Ewers. They've been more snake bit in big games over the years than even us, with way fewer appearances. So no, I'm not ready to crown them champions of anything yet.

Texas still doesn't strike fear in me like Bama, Georgia, or LSU when they were at the height of their powers. Today's Texas is more like the last two Clemson teams we faced in the Playoffs. A major hurdle but not insurmountable.

Who knows? Maybe they'll shock the world and run the table from here on out. Unlike most seasons, there is really no invinvible unbeatable looking team out there. On a neutral field we'd have to be no worse than a coin-flip with anybody even with our obvious flaws and shortcomings.

He didn't do bad when he was in there. Do we even have anybody else that could potentially play LT competently besides Zen is the question? I'm drawing a blank. 

They always consider a rule change after we get screwed. Little good it does us now.

The Coaching Staff, Defensive Line and Denzel Burke is why we lost. Not Will Howard.....

In other words, he doesn't have any answers, and he won't get it fixed. Because he doesn't know what's broke. Is there anybody better we could go get? Probably not. Is he ever getting us to the promiseland? Probably not. Knowles is not the genius everybody made him out to be and Larry Johnson is never gonna change. He's too old to change now.

What happened to that big bad Defense you were telling me about a few weeks ago Millhouse? Top five statistically in every category and all that jazz... Changed your tune now. Saying all the things I said a month ago when you were telling me I was crazy.  LOL

He's a heckuva player, and about as perfect a Buckeye as you could draw up. I don't ever recall him dropping one pass his entire career. He really is something special and he gets little fanfare for all he does. I'm glad you took time to recognize his contributions.

At least the Guardians won. Just like old times, have to go through mighty Yankees for a chance to go to the World Series. It doesn't get much better than that.

That rum-dum coaching staff of ours doesn't have any excuses now. I don't know why it's that big a deal we have everybody available. Those knucleheads are going to put the same guys out there they've had out there for every big game the past 2-3 years and hope for a different result like always. They aren't going to make any adjustments or change personnel. If it's not working, they'll just lose like usual. Sawyer, Tuimololau, and Hamilton will play 90 plays a piece and make 4 tackles between them.

Better hope Chip Kelly is dialed in again like he has been all season and that all our Offensive playmakers show up. If they are depending on that Defense to win it, we'll lose.

I don't care if I get downvoted. I've been getting downvoted for years. It's nothing new. Most of the people on here live in fantasyland. They don't want to hear about stuff like that 1-6 because it's true. Beat somebody good for once and win something that matters like "The Game" a Big Ten Championship, or a National Title and I'll shut up. Until then too bad. If Day and the rest of those knucklehead coaches want to silence the doubters for awhile beating Oregon tomorrow would be a good start. We'll see what happens soon enough. They better not lose again to the first team with a pulse we play. That out of conference schedule of ours was a joke. Like 131st easiest out of 135.

We have as talented a roster as you could hope for, but not a single player on that roster (except for Will Howard and Downs) has really won a big game in their college careers. The current coaching staff of ours hasn't won one in a real long time either. (The Utah Rose Bowl in 2022 is the last one and it wasn't part of the Playoffs that year...so it wasn't that meaningful either) I won't ever count any wins against Penn State as long as Franklin is their coach.

Gabriel didn't look real impressive against Sparty. I hope he plays like he did in the first half of that game. Gabriel and Oregon's success overallI will all come down to Larry Johnson's willingness to rotate like he did against our scrub out of conference opponents. If he does we should win without much trouble, but if he refuses to rotate and leaves Sawyer, JT, and Hamilton out there all game without any rest like he did against Iowa the game will unfortunately probably come down to the wire and if we happen to lose will be the reason.
