Happy for Tshabola and excited that Siereveld was able to make a push so early in his time here. The OL looks and feels a lot different than last season and in the best way.

Wasn't super solid last year, but I think underrated how much playing a RS Fr who wasn't ready at Center hurt us. Which is really because no one thought to give Luke Wypler a decent enough NIL check to stick around another year.
Been saying that for a year now. Who would have thought that with losing Stroud and two big-time OTs early, it would have been Wypler's absence that probably cost us a natty?
Rotating OL is not something you usually do or like to see, as cohesion up front for communication purposes is paramount, but this worked out well. Don being out allowed Austin to get starter reps and rotating with Tegra allowed him to play two spots. We built depth at both guard positions, and Austin will be ready to be a full-time starter in 2025. It is great that Tegra finally is a starter and hopefully will work well with Seth and Don to sharpen our inside zone running game.
So Happy for Tegra and we're lucky to have him for another year (or two)! Siereveld played great for a young Buck and will be a stalwart on the line 2025-2027. Our OT depth and future at the position is a little concerning but hopefully they'll strike gold in the portal the way they did this year with Seth McLaughlin.
rewatching the game, he plays very well when he gets leverage. Dominant. But when he's at all off balance he's reaching and hooks people. He moves really well for someone that size. He an easily become a tackle with that size. I expect he'll improve, but lets hope we don't get some bad holds at the wrong times. Kudos to him. Go back and watch the first drive from Iowa game. You see it all from home, including getting to the second level late in the drive.
I'm a little disappointed to see Tshabola get pigeonholed into the right guard position. I just don't think he was given a fair chance at slot receiver.

I like how they handled it. It made both of them better and improved depth.

Have to believe that having the threat of a QB run in the playbook is helping quite a bit.
Michigan. lol.

Fire Frye!!! JK!!! Always laugh when people gripe about recruiting then we field a pretty solid line under him

Eh, I’m pretty sure Ohio State would have run the table last year with Stroud.
Oline stability and depth opens up the whole offense. These guys up front are heroes. Hats off to Justin Frye.

More like a "tip of the cap" for Frye. The hats come off if there is continued improvement. That is still tbd, imo.
If you have two people that agree on everything, that only means one of them is not thinking at all.

Need the depth. Someone will get dinged so you need a viable backup
talk about not getting off the pot.

Smart. These coaches know what they're doing.

I'm not so secretly pleased that a dog from Cleveland is starting. Let him eat.

Tegra is a monster. That kid is going to be an All-American.

Tshabola is dominating. I’m sure the Chip Kelly play designs are helping but a lot of credit is also due to Justin Frye. He has coached him up well.
