Forget Sanders. He's not coming to C-bus. After watching his performance as a recruiter for the past two years, it's becoming quite obvious that Frye can't close on players who he and/or the osu staff have identified as potential candidates for enrollment. Day needs to take a hard look at why Frye misses on so many prime prospects as well as his effectiveness at developing young players. He needs to look at the xichigan and Mizzou games last year in particular.

Looking in from the outside, I have no idea what's going on with OL recruiting, particularly at the OT position. However, it seems like Coaches Frye and Day continue to miss on top of the line OT's. If they miss on Sanders and Petty, maybe a coaching change at O-line is needed. It's quite demoralizing to see the misses year after year.

A basketball question for the hoops writers/experts on this site. As I understand it, Diebler has a spot open on his roster. What do you know or what are you hearing about possible candidates for the opening. I've heard he's looking for a PF who can rebound and protect the rim. What do you know. I assume he intends to fill the opening but I haven't heard a word about it lately.

I knew a mental health professional who helped us develop a drug and alcohol abuse prevention program in the late 80's. He was a PhD psychologist who was specializing in factors related to drug addiction at the time. Eventually, Ohio Statte hired him and he worked for the football program from 1995-2000. He now works for the Green Bay Packers. Herbie's problems were in the early 90's so I guess he missed Dr. Carr, or Dr Carr missed him. He did some good work for us (Marian University, Indianapolis) though.
