Better recruiting on the o-line needed...3 star projects--IN GENERAL--are not the way to go. We lack so much depth and losing Simmons , who we had to get from San Diego St., hurts our chances at a national title. Get Better at recruiting the o-line This is Ohio St.!

I want Ohio St. to win out and wreck Oregon , but in this particular exact scenario (which it will not be), OSU getting the 5 seed to play boise then iowa st to make final 4 is pretty nice......the NCAA needs to change the 4 conference champs taking the first 4 seeds..put them IN the playoff, but seeds should ALL be earned. The ACC and Big 12 are not that good.
if we lose close games on the road to 2 #3 teams we WILL be in the playoff still if we win all the others. would suck not getting chance for Big Ten title though --so just need to beat everyone here on out like the 2014 team did after a loss.
the biggest loss saturday was losing Simmons for the year. Look what happened to our run game after that. That is the position (along with qb) we could ill afford to lose. This was a weird game and about as bad as the defense could play and as well as gabriel could throw and we are one kickoff recovery or opi call away from winning on the road. Win out, win the big ten and beat oregon in rematch, win national title. It is all there for the taking and this team can still do it. need good enough replacement for simmons and to adjust defense to GET MORE PRESSURE. Go Buckeyes.
Things need to improve on defense (didn't think I would need to say that this year) and losing Simmons really sucks, but like 2014, everything is still there for the taking. Win out (4 of 6 last games are tough ones but can and should win them all), beat those punk ducks in conference title rematch and win the playoff. I will argue the 2 best teams played each other last night, with Texas behind them. Georgia and alabama especially--NO.......AND--yes the record against top 5 isn't great but keep in mind that ONE bad ref call in 3 of those games and OSU wins----2019 Clemson, 2022 playoff against Georgia (and lost Harrison) and this game. This team can still win a national title. GO BUCKS.
Really rooting for Sasso to be back wrestling this season!
a 12 team playoff is MUCH better--there is no harm at all in having 12 teams out of 134 have a playoff--MUCH more fun and keeps more fanbases in throughout the season. I hope it goes to 16. ....however, I agree it would be lame if teams like Iowa St. and Miamin get 2 of the top 4 seeds.....they need to not give automatic bids to conference champs or a group of 5 team...Rank the teams 1-2 and seed them that way..if you are the 1 seed and have a possible quarterfinal match against, say, Georgia, that's lame...all because of the conference champ auto bids..there will be 4 big Ten and SEC teams EACH probably better than the champion of the ACC and Big 12 so the NCAA needs to change that.
There is no reason to have the first transfer window open with bowl games/playoff games to be played..makes no sense to not make it after the playoffs are done!
ESPN is no longer relevant. They suck and are biased. The End.
Going to be the toughest game of the year, especially on the road. Going to be a 4 quarter battle..Can't stand 6 year starter D. Gabriel ...Go Buckeyes!
Smith may be the highlight reel, but Egbuka is the glue...unselfish player and we are very fortunate he came back Great game and a good person also. Go Bucks!
one of my favorite reads on here! Would like to see no automatic bis for group of 5 teams with very easy schedules unless they would rank in committee top 12 anyway. Also, the top 4 conference champs should not be 1-4 seeds per se....like say a big ten or sec championship lose has clearly had better season than say...clemson or miami or big 12 team at the end--just seed them where they earned it 1-12. They should also reseed after the first round games, etc. to reward the top seeds. Either way, 12 team playoff MUCH more exciting and fair than measly 4 teams..go Bucks!
a 2 or 3 loss Big Ten or SEC team would more than like be much more worthy than a group of 5 team with their super easy schedules so that makes no sense. They should get no automatic bid. Let's get the 12 best.
There is no cap as to how many at large bids a conference can get.
