It is within the rules I have no problem with it... hopefully Day keeps that in his back of his mind and uses it for his advantage in another game with the same circumstances... whether the rule should be changed can be questioned as it provides an unfair advantage IMO but at this point it is in effect as of now...

I don't think we were in optimum range for a FG in the Georgia game...  IIRC it was an over 45yard try... with most college kickers the odds go up from 40 yards and in more than 45 yards they go down for sure...  that said neither game should have come down to that if the Buckeyes had played a bit better as a team... the ball takes strange bounces and that has to be overcome to win and no team , no coach does that all the time ...

That curse no longer exist... that was the the curse of the Indians never winning the division to get to the play offs ... it was broken in the 1990's... it was 50 years IIRC between the Indians playing in the postseason 1954 to 1994 ...

I'm nervous about every game... hell when the Buckeyes get behind I have to quit watching at times ( though I'm recording ) and come back to watch later ... I just need a break... I was worried about the Akron game... what would are season be like if one of our starting  WR, QB, DE's or  center got injured for the year playing Akron... I worry about every game...

Since the beginning of the BCS era there have been 27 NC's till now  the SEC has won 14 of them  with the ACC winning 5... BIG 2 (Ohio  State...  left out tcun because they cheated for 3 years to reach that game) PAC 2 BIG 12 the rest... and the SEC  has won 6 of the CFP of the 10 total so far... if there is a bias it is well deserved till another conference does what they have done... they have been  by far the most dominate conf in football  for the last 30 years... and with the CFP they have proven it on the field... I have no problems with their rankings until some other conf can show they can do better...

I need to know why so many  Buckeye fans  continue to let Desmond Howard live in their heads rent free... he is a well known idiot but yet  you never give him an eviction notice...

And also sunlight to help the grass grow  and dry...  the lowered field ~ 15 ft with the higher water table and the added  seats where the track used to be and the added boxes ...   creating added height  to the  stadium relative to the field causing lack of sunlight to  even grow the grass that late in the year...

if you want to fix the field so you can have natural grass it will take a major remodeling that they don't want to do just  for grass basically raising the field  and eleiminating the seats where the track used to be or build a new shoe with that in mind... there will be no grass at the Shoe unless they come up with a cheap and newer tech/horticulture... and that option is not available as of now

His aggressiveness seemed to have burnt him at times... and now we know that at least with tcun why it did  but there were times against other teams that hurt us... I think he adjusted to that and is now seeing that playing contain is best as he now has an offense that most of the time  he does not have to take chances.. though he did along with Day emphasize creating TO's ...

I think he will pick his spots to be aggressive and I thnk that will depend on the situation.. and I'm all for that... Jim Tressel had one of the better D's at tOSU and JImHeacock had the Buckeyes ranked in the top 10 year after year and it was mainly a contain D and that was with the Senators O ... which no one would claim as high powered or high scoring the vast majority of the time and it worked well even then ...

  Would love to see the Tribe in the WS and win it ... they have been close the last 3 decades IIRC 4 times ... why not get it done with a no nam ... e team  about the only well  known star they have is Ramirez and he wants to be here... which has not been the case for years... I'm actually amazed because about every other time they had great pitching  or great batting  and this time  not so much  just playing baseball the old fashioned way getting guys on base and hitting them along... with good D  and a great bullpen...

I get Netflix, MAX,Peacock, BTN ACC SEC, All ESPN , All FOX sports channels, All CBS Sports channel , NBA,MLB,NFL REDZONE and the New England sports channels, all the BIG time movie/cable cable channels except Starz and about 400 or 500 or more  channels, internet ,Phone for about $280/mo... I really can't complain to much as that covers everything plus i get DVR and storage  for about 500 hrs ...

Here is hoping he gets a 5 yr  "show cause"  and then they have to pay him not to coach and higher a new coach...

I think there weak spot is QB more than  anything else ... they have a good team no doubt  but the main offensive player is their weakness ...

If they had only been able to get off the field on third down - like 15 times.
If Donovan Edwards actually hit one of the few holes created for him.
If Semaj Morgan hadn't exhausted himself, celebrating every time he had a catch for a 2 yard gain.
If Davis Warren were able to hit a wide open receiver.
If the All-American tackles hadn't been beaten to a pulp by the TX oline.
If the *scum DB's could cover anyone without holding.
If they only knew what plays TX was going to run......
