No, I just want the coaches to keep quiet and fix it.
Posted this last year, going so far as to suggest it might very well be time to move on from LJ, and I was down-voted to Siberia. I still hold on to that opinion, and I'll add that Knowles, although improving things overall, may need to join him or move on to a better fit elsewhere. I watched the Texas-Alabama game last year, and Texas, with three DL, beat up on the Alabama OL
Can we please stop calling our line the Rushmen. I haven't seen a pass rush in ages.
Texas is the only team I've seen that comes closest to that mark thus far. But it's still a long season.
The humorous thing on this site is that you can't criticize Day without antagonizing the True Believers. Unfortunately the extremes on both ends of the spectrum scream the loudest.
If once again, lack of physicality and imploding in the 4th isn't a wake-up call, I don't know what is. Six years is one long call. I'd hate to see the bill.
I thought it was incredibly shrewd even if I didn't like it and believe there needs to be a rule change of some form. There's a rule against in-person scouting of opponents, not (yet) against this action, but there will be.
We had costly turnovers in that game with PSU. Not Terrell Pryor's finest hour.
Very true. IF we beat Penn State, but I like the positive vibe!
Ummm...no.
I look at some lower rated recruits that came from TCUN and other schools and they were major contributors to not only their college programs, but also now to their respective pro teams. I have to believe it falls on coaching.
I think it's more of a disconnect between the front 4 and back seven. Whether that's due to Knowles or LJ or Day I have no idea.
That's maturity and leadership issue and it starts with the coaches.
I still cling to the idea of being a gracious loser, upset to the point of working harder to be better, but giving credit to your opponent first.
More than ever, we need a Bosa.
Howard had overall a great game. I can't fault him for much if anything. Burke however, believed his own hype and dropped about 2-3 rounds in the draft as a result.
Yep, no aggression. Head-scratcher to me.
Nice to see TCUN sandwiched by the service academies.
Bummer. He was contributing and having a great year. Get well soon.
I agree. Quit stewing about it and move on. It's like someone that broke up with the supposed love of their life and can't get over it. Well, get over it.
Analysis Paralysis? Football is pretty basic and violent, at least to me. But I'm no expert either.
Knowles' defenses at Oklahoma State were aggressive and performed well. Granted, it's the Big 12 but your take is completely unfair. What has Larry Johnson's line done in the past four years? Nada. How do we know Knowles isn't hamstrung by not giving him complete control? There is a definite disconnect between the front four and back seven and I'm not going to pin that on Knowles. Fans are nuts, at the start of the year, they wanted Frye shit-canned, now it's Knowles. I'm not a Knowles fanboy either, but far from a hater.
SAY HIS NAME...
Made me think of the Breaking Bad episode when Walt says, 'you know who I am, say my name'
The Huskers aren't there yet, but most definitely an improving team. Agreed.
