I’m looking forward to this. Even better, it’s for a good cause.

Love this. Next year, go one step further and schedule a tourney between the four schools.....

It never made sense that OSU, UD, UC and XU didn't play a tourney ---- and super easy to throw KSU, BG, Toledo, Akron in there to make it an All-Ohio tourney.

Ohio U? Miami U? And then why not Cleveland State?

The original 4 suggested, though, DO make sense. Not quite the "Big 5" in Philly, but a two-round tourney, giving two games apiece (with a 3rd place game) makes a lot of sense to me.

I hope it becomes an annual event. Ridiculous that Power 5 schools 100 miles apart don't ever play each other. In these days of high costs, this is an easy way to save travel expenses and excite each team's fan base in the opposing school's town,

Sounds like OSU and UC has gotten rid of some of the old guard that opposed these teams playing each other.

Cool.  Keep doing this in the future but as a regular season game.  Rotate opponents between Cincinnati, Xavier, and Dayton.

Indiana schools (Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Butler) did something like this for several years with rotating opponents (except that Indiana and Purdue did not play each other).

This could have been a great game for St John arena.  But a great idea over all.

I hope it turns into a yearly occasion. It's absurd that Power 5 schools located 100 miles apart never play one another. This is a simple method to reduce travel expenses in these days of high costs and thrill each team's fan base in the town of the rival school.

It appears that OSU and UC have parted ways with some of the traditional supporters of these teams' rivalry.
