OSU recruits in-state OL like they have 5 stars two deep at every position. I get how they can do that at positions like WR, QB and CB, but they've had weak depth on the OL for years. It's cost them a couple B1G Championships and probably a NC in the past 4 years.

Smart should be suspended a minimum of 1 game and I wouldn't be opposed to more games. A coach just can't push an opposing player like that. By the "unwritten" rules of football, the MSU player was perfectly allowed to push Kirby Smart back in that situation. Imagine the shit storm that would have ensued if that happened?
The only conspiracy is the league is absolutely trying to schedule great games for their TV partners who paid for UO vs. OSU and not Rutgers vs. UO.
Last time I got a little cocky about UO, they came into Ohio Stadium and physically man-handled the Buckeyes on both sides of the ball, so I'm being a lot more humble this time.
Yes. that's it! Thank you.
Even in the NFL, or out of the NFL in 1-2 years after he's been fired, I still picture Harbaugh shirtless when/if TCUN's Threat Level is ever Severe again.
Jahkeem is going to tough to pry away from LSU's boosters. Their NIL collectives will be making him their top priority this year.
If TCUN didn't have those two stud DT's I might be tempted to celebrate an early victory; however, they do have those guys so there will be no early celebrations from me.
I do feel a lot better after seeing OSU's run defense perform against a run-only team like Iowa especially after seeing Sonny Styles effectiveness against the run. That bodes well against TCUN.
I miss the "barometer" showing TCUN's threat level with the blinking cursor. Can it returned to a grateful Buckeye nation?
It's a long season particularly with a deep run in the Playoffs. Need to rotate the DT's (and a lot of other positions) so we have as healthy a team as possible for the Playoffs.
I saw a Sparty fan on X say this same guy approached their tail gate last year with similar hostile intentions. The guy has some major anger management issues.
On the video, what's with all the people not standing for the National Anthem and guys not taking off their hats? I've never seen that before.
I agree with what you're saying about the railing and ushers obstructing the view from those seats. I wouldn't be happy with that at a free JV football game let alone paying club seats at Ohio Stadium.
I thought you might have been exagerating how bad they are ---- but yea they're even worse.
Pretty cool the Birm was quoted on a Joel Klatt tweet but ESPN's writeup was pure communist-like propaganda.
Bad look from the head coach just standing there idly while his players are still out on the field losing their heads looking for fights. Nick would have been out there pulling on their arms and screaming in their faces.
Sorry......I needed to vent! Just in shock we waited so long to offer the kid. I get losing top 100 OOS guys.....but waiting until the entire SEC offers a top 215 in-state guy at the absolute biggest need on the field??????
Still hard to believe but I'm not surprised given how we've recruited the OL the last several years.
I was fortunate enough to be watching him strutting around yelling at his teammates live on TV. I was thinking he's the kind of teammate you want to blanket party in the locker room after showing you up on national TV. He was making it look like he was the only one on Bama's defense who cared they were losing.
I was even more shocked when I saw he was still on the field the next play but it sounds like he wouldn't come off?. He's the kind of cancer that will destroy a team. I'd give him a two game suspension if I was the Bama coach. Send a message.
11W is the biggest bunch of apologists for crappy OL play I've ever seen.
You guys automatically demand NC's but you're not willing to invest in the OL....but you sure want a bunch of 5 star WR and QB's that disappear when OSU faces a good defense against TCUN and the bowl games.
The best teams in the country like UGA, Tennessee and Texas all want this 6'7" OT ranked around 210 on the composite and OSU is playing "hard to get" at a position where the backups are laughable. It doesn't make any damn sense to me but you guys are the recruiting experts who've cheered on this great OL that we're watching "man handle" Iowa on 4th and 2.
I'm okay with it but I don't expect NC's like you guys do. If I was serious about winning a NC, I would care a lot more about not offering highly ranked OT's in our back yard.
Let's go get that 5 star WR from Wayne. Eff the OL.
How in the effing hell has Adam Guthrie, OT from Washington Trace, not been offered??????? You'd think OSU had the best young group of OT's in America if they feel they need to "make him earn his offer."
He's 215 on the Composite, 6'7" 285 lbs....lives in major Buckeye country. He has offers from half of the SEC and Clemson and we're twiddling our thumbs. Criminal he doesn't have an OSU offer.

Jamar is at his peak while Adams is on a slow decline of his physical abilities.
The only reason to even think about it is if Jamar lets his dissatification with his contract affect his play; otherwise, he's a top 3 WR.
I was at the Out House on Saturday (don't ask):
* I like their RB - he doesn't go down unless you take a good shot and wrap up.
* Orji: obviously not a good QB but he can throw a good "in route" right over the Center's head as the WR is running parallel with the LOS ---- 10 yards away. Other than that, he can't throw the ball to save his life.
* TCUN's DT's are the real deal. If you're NFL team needs DT's - you can't go wrong with TCUN's.
* A2 was DEAD on Saturday. Not just the stadium but the whole town which was odd given it was Parents' Weekend. There was street parking in front of the Law Building which isn't too far from the stadium. I'm used to the pandemonium of OSU on home games. Mass of humanity on High St, Lane Avenue, stadium area ----- there was NONE of that at TCUN. Even the fraternity houses looked muted. Not sure what the heck was going on.
Granted the weather wasn't the greatest (but hardly the worst) and they were coming off the big Texas game, but I was shocked at how few people there were in A2.
* It was the single most boring football game I've ever watched in person. Just bad football. Both teams can't do much more than run the ball up the gut and an off-tackle run is considered cutting edge. During the 3.5 minute time-outs I'd close my eyes trying to sneak in a quick nap. And talk about piped-in loud music - that's all they do up there. Obnoxious.
* I tip my hat to TCUN's academic profile and their ability to attract smart people. Nearly all the older fans looked like doctors and lawyers. You could smell the money.
I've always liked Sparty. They're kind of like the middle class, hard scrapple types unlike TCUN alumni giving off the old money, East coast vibes.
I've never seen Beanie's combination of speed & strength....Reecie could have gotten there, and maybe even exceeded it, by his third year at OSU (with mentally tuned-in Reecie).
I haven't seen it since....and I'm not saying we haven't maybe seen better backs (Zeke and Quin and #32 are right there), but none had his combo of speed & strength.
Sparty takes IMMENSE pride in their school's turf (grass) management program so they're probably one of the least likely schools to ever migrate to astroturf.
Would be awesome to see some mud on uniforms again.
How would it be tampering? Doesn't OSU have 3-4 tech guys funding the majority of one of their collectives discussed on 11W? They go out and offer whatever they want to any player they desire. They threw millions at Downs.
If I had $500 million, I'd do what Portnoy's talking about. Imagine how much fun he'd be having right now if he spent enough money to get Ward as his QB. TCUN would be NC contenders with him at the helm....and Presidente could make that money back betting on his team.
Toledo Man: who's the greedy bastards? The OSU football players who are paid millions of dollars, the coaches who are paid tens of millions of dollars, or the university administrators who are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars? Or the OSU fans (especially 11W's) who expect NC's on a semi-regular basis?
