If I had to guess, he won't get it simply because he's a Freshman. But I'd wager a guess that whoever does end up winning it would be chosen after JJ if every single college coach was asked who they would pick first.
To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
Honestly, yeah. For a freshman to be in the running for the Biletnikoff is insane, and totally indicative of what a freak talent this kid is. I don't see Ryan Williams' name listed there. Enjoy JJ while we have him.
I bet before it's over sadly Williams will win over Smith. Smith's greatest catches this season were watched by fewer people on crappy Peacock. Meanwhile eSECpn will drive the narrative of Williams 7 × 24.
Lol.. I was just making fun of all the continuously irrelevant nonsense that ESPN spews out, that has absolutely nothing at all to do with the play on the field.
But your’e right.
He has received more of a national exposure from their coverage, when compared to Smith. I’d also argue that he has been a little bit more productive in his biggest games so far, as well, though. Not that Jeremiah isn’t producing. Williams has just been in a few closer games and has had to play into the 4th quarter more often.
Williams simply has a bigger stage. eSECpn behind him all the time. He is going to play on either ABC or eSECpn. Again Smith's best performance wasn't even seen by a large audience, thanks to a 3rd rate streaming service that has nowhere close the viewership as mainstream channels.

Anyone surprised?? Didn't think so.

Not right. But it's reality.
Did you know that Ryan Williams is only 17? /… Lol

Here proves my point. Both Williams and Smith make the list, but of course Williams is two spots ahead!

Irony. Tallahassee has a QB Club, but not a QB to be found anywhere near Tallahassee.
