I know. I mean do we ever run stunts/twists or anything like that, which other teams seem to run all the time. Maybe I am just missing it, but I don't see us doing any of that.

But the AP and Coaches polls affect the CFP rankings, whether they say it does or not. Maybe once the first CFP ranking comes out, then the AP and Coaches polls won't matter anymore, but up until that point, the CFP committee sees the other rankings and I got to believe that affects their views.
We're talking about an organization that continues to hire that scumbag Desmond Howard. He adds absolutely nothing to GameDay. You cannot take anything he says on there seriously.
He knows they won't be released, that is why he is saying this. Scumbag!
If seeds go as expected, #1 will play #8, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6, and #4 vs #5. Also, I would say a bye week is still easier than playing the #12 seed that the #5 gets to play. Sure, just like March Madness, upsets are going to happen and the better seeds might have a tougher bracket as it plays out. The only way to avoid that is to reseed after each round. If seeds hold though, the #1 team should have the easiest path.
TTUN friends? Why?
I personally don't see a good showing coming out of the quarterbacks tomorrow, not if the defense is as good as they should be. Depends on how vanilla they play I guess, on both sides.
I think he was hanging in the closet like Barney Fife.
Just curious how Caleb Downs goes from 205 to 205 and has a +2 gain. Also for Emeka, goes from 206 to 206 and is -1. I know we aren't supposed to do math here, but something doesn't add up.
The other two coaches seem to be looking in one direction, like where the players are, while mystery coach is looking another direction, most likely at the other sidelines.
But he has that SEC speed.

I want to see the style of play we had in that game vs Clemson. We huddled, came to the line and ran the play. The defense was on their heels as they did not have time to adjust to our offensive alignment and had to just run the defensive play they had called. When we do that fake clap and then look to the sideline to get the perfect play, the defense also has time to adjust based on our alignment. Just make a call and go run the play!
I don't follow recruiting that closely to know if this means anything or not, but I noticed right off that in the Daniel Harris graphic listing his top 4, The Ohio State jersey is #1, while all the others are #2. Good sign or just coincidence?
The only problem I have when throwing numbers out there like being 24th in defensive efficiency vs OSU at 131, is that came against a Missouri Valley conference schedule, not a B10 schedule. Maybe OSU is closer to 24th if they play Loyola's schedule.
Seems to be the same thing each game. Play a good half. The other team makes an adjustment and we can't figure it out. They then just run the same play over and over and we don't ever figure out how to stop it.
On offense, the other team seems to know exactly what we are running and are overplaying it. I cannot remember the last time I saw us run a backcut when the defense is overplaying it so much. It's like we have to run the play exactly as designed and have no counters to how a defense might play.
Shaw has seniority over Styles. /s
I get this maybe for the bigger bowl games (Rose, Sugar, etc.), but 95% of the bowl games prior to the playoff era had no implications on the national champion. Were they meaningless back then? Like with everything else, it probably just has to do with money. NFL money is so much more than it used to be and the bowl games are not worth the risk of injury and jeopardizing that NFL money.
So if I read it correctly, the championship game can be delayed to Jan 14 if a team is unavailable on the original date. So what happens if Team A is unavailable due to covid on the original date and it gets rescheduled. Then Team A is available on the rescheduled date, but now Team B has become unavailble due to covid. Is Team A the National Champion, even though Team B was ready on the original date. That wouldn't seem right to me.
I really like Holtman as coach, but it seems like too many times when we have a lead, last 5-6 minutes of offense are just hold the ball to let clock run and then a one on one shot. I wish they would just continue to run the offense and get a good shot. We are not the only team that seems to do this though.
And how is it that two DBs that didn't play the position in high school end up as two of our best at DBU? I am hoping they are just that talented and not just a reflection of the rest of the DBs.
Good thing it is not metallic mint green.
My issue is if Stroud is hurt and it continues to get worse to where he physically cannot play, the backups are going to have to come in and play. I would rather them get a little experience against Akron than throwing them in during conference play.
That is good for the wedding day itself, but for the couples themselves, fall weddings are not good. In all likelihood, anniversaries are going to fall on a game day and the issue will continue to come up.
Isn't the rule that you can play in 4 games and still redshirt? 12 game regular season + B10 Championship Game, + 2 playoff games = 15 games. How about we play three of the QBs 4 games each and the fourth QB plays 3. We win the championship and all four QBs still take a redshirt year.
