Basketball is the #2 sport in the state? Tell me you’ve never been to Cincinnati without telling me you’ve never been to Cincinnati (specifically the Findlay Market parade for Opening Day).

As a Bengals fan, I was not mentally prepared for my favorite team to score 30+ and lose until tomorrow so this is tough.
Howard was 28/35 for 326 yards 3 total TD. It ain’t on him. Shitty defensive game plan to not put any pressure on Gabriel. Ends couldn’t get any pressure and Burke was terrible.
Worst coaching decision was not to go for 2 at any point to try to get the lead to 7. If you miss and you get a FG and you’re only up 8 it’s a one score game, but it was not that kind of game.
If you were going to drop one this was it - away, top 3 matchup, still early, and you can still get a rematch in Indy. But it will feed the narrative that Day can’t win big games for another cycle.

My wife and I had so many Yau’s/Stube date nights. Knew this was eventually going to happen, but it still feels like a big punch to the gut.
I like them too, but the silver helmets with the gray unis throws me off a little bit. Would love to see the gray unis with a matted gray helmet.
Iowa may have tier one defense and nepotism, but there is no planet where it should be a tier one program overall
How did Hartline not get a pay bump?
I went to buy my spring game ticket and the fees are $7.50, almost as much as the ticket itself! Insane… any way to get around that?
I used to live at King & High and the Stube and Yau’s were regular Friday night occurrences for me. Everyone knows the Stube is great, but Yau’s is criminally underrated. Next time you pop into the Stube do yourself a favor and stop by Yau’s to try the chow gui dew and the crab rangoons. Tell them Glennstronaut sent you (they will have no clue who I am though).
As a Bengals fan who counts Fields amongst his favorite Buckeyes, my soul hurts :(
It’s hard not to feel a bit queasy after reading that article. Woof.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Best of luck to Kyle. I appreciate everything he did, but the offense’s ceiling was going to be capped if he remained the starter, especially with Marv, Egbuka, Stover, and Henderson gone. He was never going to carry an offense like Fields or CJ did.
If this is step one to Day coaching like he’s actually on the hot seat, I’ll take it. Now let’s bring in a high-quality transfer QB and make some necessary staffing changes.
I went with my now wife in 2017 and that’s the most fun I never want to have again
Thank you for sharing your story, Chase.
Folks, it would be a real, real shame if a bunch of Buckeye fans left one-star reviews on their Google page, wouldn’t it?
Just what we need, another half-vacant mixed use apartment building replacing a campus landmark. If they come for Out R Inn I’m bringing a pitchfork.
Who Dey! I was at Paycor Stadium on Sunday night, definitely the best professional football moment of my life (not that there’s many to choose from).
Good luck, Kevin, and keep that swag turned on.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Kevin, today and every day. Who Dey!

Ohio State is selling tickets for $185 including fees… obviously high but cheaper than $550.
I looked at historical trends and the Rose Bowl prices usually hover around $200, so I don’t know if it’s going to get any cheaper. With Utah playing its first Rose Bowl and Buckeye Nation being everywhere, I suspect demand will stay high.
I’ll be flying in from Cincy, but my fiancée lives in Anaheim (long story) so I/we at least have lodging. I don’t think I’d be going otherwise, because the airfare/game ticket prices are insane.
If you haven’t booked a flight yet, highly recommend flying into John Wayne (SNA) or Long Beach (LGB) and staying in Anaheim to avoid the LAX hassles. It’s also close enough to several beaches (Huntington, Newport, Seal) and Disneyland is nearby.
We went to the Lakers game last week, and they matched our vaccination cards to our IDs. Once we were in, there was no mask policing. It was hit or miss whether people were wearing them in their seats. Pasadena is in LA County so I expect they will check vaccination cards if that’s a dealbreaker for you.
Would love some tips on attending the Rose Bowl parade if you’ve got them!
