I agree they needed to get off the field more. But to contest it a bit, Oregon had points on 6 of 11 drives:
- 3 punts

- 1 turnover on downs

- 1 missed FG

- 2 FGs

- 4 TDs

We had points of 5 of 10 (4 TDs, 1 FG)

Clearly we fell a stop short, but the difference maker is two stolen possessions giving them extra shots: the onside(ish) kick and the Judkins fumble.

Quick question for you, when did Texas or Oregon last play in a national title game? Oh right, in the playoff era, they’ve combined for one, where Oregon lost to …. checks notes … us. OSU has more title game appearances than they have playoff wins combined

funny that you mention Saban-era Bama too, because post-Saban, we just watched them lose to Vandy, which would set this website on fire if we did it.

I think the answer pretty objectively has to be @ Penn State, but we’ll need to be ready for IU. Great offense, on the fringe of a playoff run, when we might be looking past them to UM? Classic trap game.

In general though, I’m not sure there’s a team in the country with the skill players that UO has, let alone in the B1G. PSU doesn’t have the WRs they have, for example - assuming they didn’t permanently break Burke…..

I’m guessing whoever makes that choice is in the media department, not, like, Chip taking time out of game planning to pick lol

and I can assure you that no prep time has been lost in me making this forum post…. Maybe next week Coach Day will return my call….

There is a less than zero percent chance that Yoder has a million dollars to throw at one player lol

people also need to remember that he’s the equivalent of like, a combo of Zach Smith and Buckeyescoop. He’s persona non grata among the powers that be in Ann Arbor

“I 100% believe they had our signals when Don Brown coached. Those games are terrible.”

so…. you admit that having someone’s signs makes playing defense harder??

I mean, the answer on Fisch is simple: he’d already taken a job at UW by the time Harbaugh left (and is facing a career tag of jumping too fast). If he’d still been at UofA that’d have been different

Remembering this, for no particular reason…

”Martindale … is among the highest-paid coordinators in the nation. The former NFL defensive coordinator's salary is $2.3 million this year and set at $2.5 million in 2025 and $2.7 million in 2026 according to his contract, which was signed on Feb. 12 and obtained by the Free Press via open records act. Last season, there were only two coordinators in the country who made $2 million: Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb at exactly $2 million and Clemson offensive coordinator Garrett Riley [at 2.05 million].”

Engagement farming until proven otherwise imo

(hopefully they’re right!)

Given the big loss and realization their coaching staff is incompetent + the bye week being a perfect time to announce something, I would say the threat level must be at least ELEVATED

I guess Michigan lost so someone at FS1 remembered that they broadcast other schools they need to pump up? Lol

Love when our former players are true haters - respect it
