I don’t see any reason to make any drastic changes 2022 were 1 point away from a natty, last year lost by 6 from potentially winning it all vs a cheating program then this year lose by 1 on the road vs #3 were fine

I agree 100% with your analysis pancake I think Penn st has a little better defense than Oregon but their offense isn’t comparable they just don’t have playmakers on the outside and don’t make big plays
If we go 10-2 we’d have wins over Iowa Nebraska Indiana Michigan those teams most likely all end up with 8+ wins Michigan could get 7 but for this excercise we’ll say 8. Then you mix in 2 of Marshall wmu and northwestern are bowl teams and we would have 2 losses on the road to 2 top 3 teams and just for shits and grins say we lose by 3 to Penn st we’d have lost by a combined 4 points. Ya there is no way in hell a 10-2 Ohio state is getting left out. Last year there would have been 3 10-2 teams making the playoff including Penn st
Ya I don’t remember gaining almost 500 yards and 31 points against Missouri
Probably because Burke gave up 200 yards by himself
Caleb downs has been awesome this year really the defense didn’t play bad against Oregon Denzel Burke played bad
Egbuka is about a lock I’d say Jackson Williams jt and sawyer have a shot. Lot of football left to play we got 2 running backs that could make a case as well Burke better play lights out after last game
Thank you undercover he was becoming a borderline first rounder I wonder if he comes back now
Haven’t seen this talked about but do you know rob if Simmons has any eligibility left after this season the only silver lining I can see is he might consider coming back now
Penn st has a better defense than Oregon but not by a wide margin they have a worse offense than Penn state by a wide margin. At this point I’m pretty confident in our offense we scored 35 on Iowa and called off the dogs to start the 4th and got 31 against Oregon despite a fumble and onside kick so I see Penn st having a hard time with this team. Win that game and we’re assured at the least a playoff spot and we’d have to choke bad not to make the big ten title game
I believe yugoslavia lol but I could be wrong
100% agreed Brewsters
You can say that but playing top 3 teams you aren’t usually gonna dominate them I mean look at 2019 Clemson we dominated them and had 4 egregious calls go against us that either led to a Clemson score or took points away from Ohio state same as the 2022 Georgia game it’s not just 1 call it’s multiple
The more I watch that play the more unbelievable it is that it gets called not sure I’ve ever seen that called in that situation. That was just great technique by JJ I’ve almost lost faith not in Ryan day in big games but it seems like in every big game there is calls against us that are just out of the ordinary
The more I rewatch the more it would be pretty obvious if I was Oregon I wouldn’t want a rematch. Fluke fumble fluke onside kick and multiple big plays Ohio state can clean up plus they’d be traveling to the buckeyes back yard in Indy.
