This supports a coaching/parenting approach I picked up many years ago

Kick’em while there up

Just what Saban said ,  expect more, be driven when a persons/teams confidence is up. Be more nurturing, when they are down.

I believe there are 100+ coaches and players (the men in the arena)  who are way more disappointed than any fan and want to get better.

Go Bucks!

Not the same fact pattern as SCum, but interesting to see the NCAA swing the proverbial hammer. The lack of cooperation by coaches and athletic administrators at SCum seems to be an overlap. Yet, I can’t help but think the planning and conniving to implement a 3 year cheating scheme is far more egregious than recruiting violations.

Prior to the release of the NOA (and possibly the B1G notice to other teams and Harbaugh suspension last year), the circumstantial evidence - win streak, second half comebacks, ATS success and other quantifiable stats - was overwhelming and something was up at SCum. Like a murder investigation, not enough to arrest or convict on, but a good detective would have known something stinks. The NCAA NOA is confirmation (smoking gun, CCTV video recordings, have a body, etc.) that a crime occurred that can bring a conviction.

So, I think #3 clearly confirms the cheating conviction.

If TCUN chooses to capitulate earlier but tells their fans that they successfully “negotiated” or “settled” to avoid the death penalty (after getting consecutive life sentences without parole) I can live with that.

And the portal can help an "outlier" find the next level.

I was watching MACtion a couple of years ago and there was this running back from Ball State who was lighting it up in a game. I saw him a couple more times and he consistently excelled. He transfers to UCLA for a year or two. Although he went undrafted, Carson Steele made the Chiefs roster and is playing regularly with Pacheco's injury.

You take what the defense gives you. Day does a masterful job of scheming pass routes (particularly in the short and intermediate range) and putting at least one defender in conflict.

This also creates complimentary football giving your defense a rest on a 3-5 minute drive.

Finally, let the OL grow into their confidence with pass protection as they continue to learn Chip Kelly's run blocking schemes.

Win and advance
