It has always been a 3-game regular season, it sucks to start 0-1 but it was the toughest one.
Penn State is a must win. Let's see what this team is made of with all of the pressure on them on the road. Kind of feels like 2014 MSU

Exactly! Defense and run game travel well!
I do like this comment too though
That being said, he makes a lot of those plays in practice. ... You play how you practice and he just has a special ability to make plays
The reaction is "holy shit" but also "yeah he does that all the time, nobody is surprised"
No way MSU puts together 4 scoring drives. Only way they get to 24 is if we do something stupid like fumble at our own 20 or throw a pick 6
Now it will be on at the same time as Bama-Georgia. I was hoping the previous 30 minute gap in addition to a Buckeyes blowout would give us enough time to flip over for the full 4th quarter. We shall see
I was not expecting this one to be Big Noon.
Looking ahead, I would expect: Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State, and TTUN as well. I guess it makes sense for Gus & Joel to get familiar with these Buckeyes.
Oregon is a night game on the west coast right (4:30 ET)? So that would probably be NBC?
At least 4 touchdowns in the first half by our offense, and no touchdowns allowed in the first half by our defense.
I honestly don't really care too much about the final score. 70-0 sounds nice though!
Stalions thought he was slick because he watched Wolf of Wall Street a few times. "I do not recall that"
Anybody worth poaching off of Miami’s roster?
Mark Fletcher perhaps?
LT: Simmons
LG: Jackson
C: McLaughlin
RG: Tshabola
RT: Fryar
I feel pretty good about this. Great size, athleticism, and experience across the board (Tshabola being the only newbie but a 3rd year guy). Hinzman is a great backup on the interior. Keep developing the backup tackles in case of emergency.
Probably won't know just how good they are until 10/5 against Iowa and 10/12 against Oregon
A not so hot take: JJ smith and Carnell Tate will leave OSU as the best WR duo we’ve ever had
More optimistic for me.
Will Howard making plays with his feet and showing command of the offense is all I wanted to hear. Bonus points for the OL looking good too. I can't wait to watch this team play!
Previous Block O recipients:
So possibly a preference for an Ohio native but not a requirement since Babb got it
For comparison, here is what was included for Marvin Harrison last year in the 2023 Freaks list (when he was a junior with 3 years of collegiate strength and conditioning):
He bench presses 380 pounds and squatted 500. He’s very explosive, having broad-jumped 10 feet 8, and he’s really sudden, having clocked a 3.94 in the shuttle and improved on his max velocity from last year, up to 23.5 MPH
Don't get it twisted: Marv is a FREAK. JJ is just already there too as an 18 year old.
As if JJ needed any more hype. I somehow overlooked how fast he is. 23.4 MPH is ridiculous even without pads. The man is 6'4" 220 pounds too.
That's legit Julio/Megatron/Randy Moss mold
Well, we do have Joey Velazquez on the roster. He transferred from TTUN.
Maybe the media can request interviews for him lol
This is going to be the narrative of the Netflix doc I bet. “Everyone does it”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the comment about Ohio State stealing signs comes up in the documentary. It’s going to try to normalize what they did
Yeah it definitely seems that is the case. It just makes you wonder why.
Does the NCAA view it as a black eye for the sport overall? Fear of a dip in TV ratings which have been skyrocketing?
When things don't make logical sense usually there is $$$ somewhere driving it
Literally all I care about is vacated wins.
Normally vacated wins are a dumb punishment because off-field scandals (pay for play, academic misconduct, etc.) have little to do with the on-field result. Maybe the players or coaches involved should have been suspended at the time but regardless the games were still legitimate competitions.
This case is different. They cheated to gain a competitive advantage on the field so the games everyone witnessed should be considered illegitimate. Publicly declare that they cheated, strip the wins, reduce some scholarships, and carry on. Then we go back to pounding them into the ground in November.
Harbaugh never beat Ohio State, and TTUN hasn't won a national championship since the invention of the colored television.
How can we see who voted for TTUN?
Will he throw?
1 day until preseason camp, 1 month until kickoff...
There is a pretty solid week one slate too. I can't wait!
I can’t upload images here but he is on the app 18Birdies. It shows 6.6 Handicap.
Looks like he shot an 88 at Muirfield Village though. Tough course
I wonder if they didn't want to make Ohio State's defense TOO highly rated overall. They are already a 96 on defense.
Hancock at 84 and Hamilton at 82 are both low. This is also without JT.
Atlantic: Rutgers, Maryland, ?, ?
How about instead of adding more schools we just scrap these 2 and call it a day?
