Defensive issues are usually fixed by scheming and effort both can be fixed fairly quickly. Somebody saw something on burke in film or they wouldn't have kept attacking...eye discipline? I don't know but it can be fixed and has to be because now everyone saw it. Offensive issues a much bigger deal which we will see if we have a problem there with the JS loss....more confident that Will, Chip and the RB/WR/TE can adjust...defense just needs the scheme and effort adjusment...LJ and JK have an issue that's on Day to fix asap.

If Johnson and Knowles need a come to Jesus meeting I would make that happen. DG shifted the pocket because he can't freaking see over anyone and allowing him to sit and rotate if necessary was killing Burke...who should go back to takling 101. Why would Day willingly take heat for defensive differences...he hired Knowles to get it done so either empower him or do it yourself.

Sorry but this is a coaching issue....I love Ryan Day and hope we have him for awhile but...when you get to the 29 all you need is a QB run or RB to center the kick the job is done (miss the FG oh well) Dan aLanning will never admit it but the 12 man deal was on purpose, he'll gladly swap 5 yards for 5 seconds in this deal. It isn't on Will Howard unless you tag him with internal clock issues but I challenge anyone to keep count when people are trying to rip your head off...he could have just gotten five and gone down. This was chess coaching and Day got beat on a couple and a couple was all it took.
