Hopefully not from a loss. Lets not even think of it. And it could mean Zen would be struggling during a game. And they make the necessary move.

This was encouraging to hear because of the amount of options -

But the good news is you got Austin (Siereveld) in there and you got Tegra who’s played some tackle before, you can move Donnie out as well and then you have Luke (Montgomery) ready to roll in at guard

We lost our starting LT. Lost our starting RG for a half. That homegrown definitely influenced the outcome. Just ask yourself - Would this team have lost thst night if it were at OSU? Chances are. No. Either way. It's a 1 point loss on the road with lopsided calls. Believe my man. Believe.

The OPI was THE most costly. And the defender engages first. Burke can take the hits for getting beat way too many times. Knowles can take the hit for playing way too soft coverage on many of those 3rd and longs and etc. But that call.... That OPI... Was the difference in the game. The good news is. They're well prepared for the crowd noise at PSU now. Nebraska and Raiola can and will spin the rock. Perfect test out for the DBs and defensive line. “Do or do not. There is no try,"

I'd say the verdict isn't out on that yet. He's under trial for sure. But I'd throw out the following Bama in the covid bowl. Where we sat so many of our players (starters) due to testing positive for covid while the SEC was less restrictive than the B10 (I don't blame them). And we lost Sermon on his first carry of the ball game. Tcun and Stallions. If if a OSU fan actually doesn't take those 3 losses in account for what they are. Put on a shirt that says GO BL _ _ and curse your own name. Because you're not a fan. I'll give us Clemson in 2020 loss. Those fgs cost us majorly. And the home Oregon loss with the debacle at Def coordinator that year. Paaaainful. And the GA loss with all the big plays. Similar to what we just saw vs Oregon. Costly I'll fall on the sword months from now. But I ABSOLUTELY believe in this team feeding and fueling off this loss. I repeat - Many of Sabans championship teams took that tough loss and then played to their real potential. So did Urbans. I'M ALL IN

Isn't it? I'm so glad we're not drinking the low self esteem they are. And what I didn't say is... The early loss does a team good. Especially by only 1 at theri place. Saban won so many of his championships off of those one loss alarm clocks. We won our last natty with the same wake up call. Our O Line looked terrible in that VaTech loss. They could drop a million down votes. Some of them are just emotuonal right now. Most just have low self esteem. On a neutral site rematch we beat them by 17 plus.

Never took em And to answer the above You'll find me criticizing the D throughout the live game comments. Knowles fails in the big games. However we lost by 1. At Oregon. Onside kick in their favor. TOs in their favor. Waaaaaay more calls/penalties in their favor. Many of the calls were legit. But still the amount of calls were one sided. Jeremiah Smiths push off wasn't worthy of a call. They were both engaging in contact. I don't see Burke having that bad of game in a rematch whatsoever. They ran a lot of shenanigans. We've seen them. Shout out to Michalski stepping it up and not being a liability. So yeah We'll stomp em out in a rematch Thats my belief. But I'm an actual fan. 1 point loss? Why yes. I still believe.

I had the same thought about our D holding up. But I do believe the atmosphere/crowd noise, early on, will impact us some early on on both sides. Plus this new D tends to hold back, assess and then cut loose with adjustments later in the game. Also... I think this is a Will Howard game. He may have a early TO (hopefully not 2) that sets up an easier scoring opportunity. Would love to be wrong and see no TOs and snap infractions.

He doesn't lean and push the pile. He'll make you pay with his legs. But we can't expect JT or Fields or Cardale type of pile pushing runs. That's not in his game. Yet. Run that option if your going to run him.

I know some are saying scheme and etc. I don't disagree how scheme impacts playmakers. But then this is too obvious... "...he has had issues filling gaps and locating ballcarriers in the run game. He’s also been a step late in the passing game. Jack Velling proved the latter point on Saturday when he beat Styles on a slant route and gained 26 yards before Hancock knocked the ball loose." I'm always pulling for Sonny with belief. But I can't even recall a top 5 plays from Sonny. If I say top 5 plays from Jerome Baker (LB) or even Ransom (safety). You can recall them. It just hasn't happened. I thought he'd be elite at covering TEs. Whether at safety or LB. Iowa is a great test. Come on Sonny. Pulling for you.

We're earning the turnovers. But the the turnovers are saving us. This a game we need the offense to put it away asap. Because that MSU offense is slooooowly moving down the field eating up clock. And Igbinosun is getting exposed in this match up. Some games we have to be capable of having Burke travel. Lastly... Tywone is shoooooowing up. Nice to see it.

If we successfully run the ball in a major way against MSU for like 200 plus. And then successfully against Iowa for like 150 plus. That'll be a real Keith Jackson "Whoa Nellie!" Because I'll feel so confident going into at Oregon and at PSU. These 2 weeks will forecast so much. The 2019 team could flat out run the ball with Dobbins and Teague with Fields. So did the 2020 team figure it out with Sermon. And definitely 2014 with Zeke and Cardale. And it all just opened up the passing game even more. Can't wait to see how they pass these tests.
