Hello everyone! Back in high school I was a frequent poster on the Eleven Warriors forum, including the occasional blog about my experiences playing football, and it sparked my passion for writing at a young age. In college at Ohio State, I decided to pursue sports journalism as my career. Since then I've had plenty of amazing experiences covering the Buckeyes and many other sports teams — including an internship at 1st Ohio Battery back in 2018 — and I'm excited to be covering Ohio State once again for all of you.

No supposedly about it, he spent multiple seasons in Croatia's top league. I don't know the exact details of Ivan's contract with his former teams, there are ways to still be an amateur playing in professional leagues.

Clearly, whatever the nitty-gritty of it is, he's eligible. We're all confused because the NCAA is confused. Not that they've ever been good about legislating their "amateur" rules consistently, but NIL might have also opened doors in this area. Since athletes are getting paid now, if they meet the other age and eligibility requirements, it'd make sense that they can come over, even if they were considered professionals in their home country. But there are examples of players formerly from professional leagues that predate NIL, too.

I wish I had more clarity to provide, but know that Ivan is here now, he's eligible and he's an exciting prospect with a personality that's easy to root for.

Yet "checking my hearing aids and bifocals", I am getting little of that vibe in the lead up to the game. Even Eleven Warriors has not gone over board in game week articles and features.

I know this wasn't meant as an offense or anything, but trust me, as someone who's spent eight hours (and counting) writing today, I'm feeling the buzz about this game.

Yes, it won't have the same national title implications as in years past. But this is still a massive clash for both fanbases. I can't wait to watch it unfold.

Ty and Tyleik played great, and I noted as much in that section if you had read it. That wasn't my point.

Fact is I'm splitting hairs to find stocks that are down with this team. The backups haven't looked great at the position and didn't play snaps that mattered hardly at all against Iowa. They played snaps that mattered against Akron and Western Michigan, before Tyleik Williams got hurt and they were forced to.

You can say fewer fourth-quarter snaps or fewer snaps total in the game, the fact is LJ clearly trusted the next wave less in this game when it was still in some sort of doubt. I know I wasn't the only one shocked with how little Kayden McDonald played given how he's flashed. Maybe it won't matter if Tyleik and Ty can play every big down of every game, but what about tired legs? What about if Tyleik gets hurt again, or Ty? That's where the concern lies.
