Can we just stop with the fire Ryan Day stuff? If you want to be critical of the run blocking, short yardage tactics, and recent performance vs UM, that’s reasonable. But to suggest that he needs to be gone is about the dumbest take one could have. 49-6 overall and 9-5 vs AP top 10 teams. Is that bottom line really not good enough for you? Football is an unpredictable game. Losses sometime happen, even to the best.
Additionally, who else are you going to get? You think Vrabel wants to come back to college to spend half of his time recruiting? Lincoln Riley is a drama queen, Saban is old, and Dabo has seen better days. Between Day’s record, abilities as an in game coach, developer, and recruiter, I think we have about as much as we could ask for, and any call for his firing comes off as completely delusional.
