Eleven Dubcast: Ohio State Falls to Oregon, Sifting Through the Aftermath of the Loss and Takeaways Towards the Buckeyes Achieving Their Long-Term Goals
I love Nadine, os has one of the good ones there. One of the absolute best. But to compare her to day or any coach that has real competition is just disingenuous. What she is doing is like going back to 1939 NCAA men's bb tournament organizing it and inviting oneself to it (OSU). If there are 11 teams invited to the ncaa and 36 total she has no competition to speak of.
If you want to compare her to someone equally compare her to brown's submariners. They have no competition either with about 4 teams that give a rats ass about water dancing. Great accomplishments? Maybe, but if no one is watching, did the tree make a sound when it fell? No one on here heard a damn thing.
Great assessment of the Buckeye football situation, especially the penalties and lack of discipline. As was pointed out, it’s been a very troubling trend and tough to turn around. I wish things were better but agree it is very discouraging when it comes to the hopes for the rest of the season.
Knowles got a pass the first year here because he inherited a roster that 'wasn't his'. Last year he got ripped over chunk plays....especially scum and we all raised our eyebrows. This year the roster is loaded with talent and Saturday's game was a reflection of a defense not ready for prime time. Penalties. Chunk plays. No pass pressure. No turnovers. Failure on third down stops. Questionable tackling. Two linebackers most of the time. Maybe Coach K is a little bit out of his league (Big 12). Or maybe him and LJ are on different pages.

it is ignorant to have an "aftermath" when losing by 1 point to the #3 team in the country on the road after a 4 hour flight
